That’s because they had always intended to do the same dirty shit as every Web 3.0 crypto company. All they did was shop around for a whitewashed pitch that could work. In fact you might well say that what Web 3.0 crypto was/is are battle royale sales pitches for scams. Being the majority coin holder of the next alt coin was just dangling free billions, and lots of people reached for the golden ring and made a ton of money doing so. People wagging their finger after the fact gets you a grilled cheese and gets them a private yacht in Greece. “Oh no, you’re right, I was an asshole!” they say between bites of coke and edible gold leafed snacks.
A little ray of sunshine in the saga.
I don’t understand how someone could try to sell $1.85m in assets and he gets $500 but this bot makes $1m?
This system is broken, opaque and rife with scammers, holes and thieves.
See, the great thing about crypto is it cuts out all the middlemen.
I kind of think it’s working as designed.
Action really needs to be taken before this scam ends us all.

It’s the ultimate enticement.
So … we got 'em? Well, for Kardashian not really, as she’s already settled with the SEC for $1.26 million. That might sound like a lot, but it’s pocket change for her.
However, this may dissuade some lower-tier cryto grifter influencers who don’t make a million dollars a week from running pump-and-dumps.
Bonus fact: when looking up Kardashian’s income, Google’s first two autocomplete choices for “how much does Kim Kardhasihian” were “how much does Kim Kardashian weigh” and “how much does Kim Kardashian cost” which neatly summarizes everything wrong with influencers.

You ask any S.E.C man,
He’ll say “There’s nothin’ we can do”,

Anyone looking to move to Hollywood?
Umm, do I see funged tokens in a couple of those pictures?
I laughed, but I actually kinda like it? It’s so strange that it works.
My first thought was “Why is there a mailbox next to the tv?”. Is that a crypto thing too?
Those orange chairs look very uncomfortable.
No dril tweets in the twitter room. 1/10
Crypto is amazing. People know it’s shady as hell but they’re like, I could make good money from this. I’m in!
Yeah, it’s a bit like deciding to sell meth. Big money potential, and what could go wrong?

What kills me about crypto is that it’s also quite close to zero sum. The whole crypto movement is just about taking money from other people and leaving them with an asset that ultimately ends up having a value of zero or near zero. Morally, how can anyone justify that?
