Are there really that many people into Crypto that they can affect elections? I know a lot of Crypto investors are world wide, not in the US. Also a lot of the US Crypto investors are probably clustered in specific areas like Silicon Valley (where I can’t imagine there are enough to tip Silicon Valley Red).
They’re probably not necessarily interested in the gross numbers, but I assume they will just be used as an amplifier.

This topic is about 75% of the posts on patriots dot win right now. The hard right has absolutely grabbed on to this story with both hands and will be pushing it in a big way starting tomorrow. It will be everywhere. It will be the reason Republicans underperformed in the election.
Honestly, having trouble caring what delusional dipshits make up in their diseased brains?

Totally fair, but many of their delusions end up penetrating into the real world. They will be trying very hard to make this the big story, rather than stories about Trump’s candidates losing.
It’s just incredible how gullible people must be to think there’s some vast Democratic conspiracy.
Significantly less than bigger piles money being thrown at it, same as the bid bad wolf. And those aren’t doing it in order to… kill their business and be thrown in jail? Now that’s 10d chess.
Hey, look, the political party addicted to each and every stupid conspiracy theory from the sewers of the Internet has found a new one! How anyone can take these clowns seriously is depressing.
“Crypto is being thwarted by the eeeeeeeevil government, who have a conspiracy to prevent it from going to the moon” has been the default narrative in the crypto community since day 1, so it’s not exactly a change (other than dragging Ukraine into it.)

Republican politicians and influencers got way more into crypto than Democratic ones. I feel like this is them scrambling to minimize the blowback for getting their audience scammed.
A lot of them wouldn’t go searching for conspiracies if their eyes weren’t dismissed as lying with regards to FIRE trust and how money works, but, nah, all would be well and simple if ~40% of people disappeared, starting with The Great Men, but we’re doomed to (accept to) keeping getting worse.
It’s amazing how the conspiracy theorists repeatedly talk up how powerful the left is etc etc but at the same time run the narrative of how useless and weak the left is.

You can’t hate and fear a weak enemy. The Dems need to be a threat.
I’m not sure the conspiracy theory stuff manages to plant in anyone other than right-wingnuts. If it did spread beyond that wouldn’t we see much more election theft stuff in mainstream social media than we are seeing? Seems like most people have accepted that the elections were honest and the Democrats outperformed expectations.
I suspect so few people invested in crypto in a significant way that none of this directly affects them. When they read about some crypto billionaire being detained in the Bahamas after his company lost billions, I doubt many blame it on a conspiracy.

F1 can always return to booze and cigarette advertising on car liveries

Don’t you mean advertising fake companies that are fronts for cigarette companies?
Explanation for non-F1 fans.
There was also the Haas / Rich Energy Drink fiasco, that guy seems like he would have fit right in with the Crypto bros.

It definitely does, but it’s relegated to the fringes and ignored, as it should be.
Only in the right do you have sitting Congresscritters and “news” anchors giving it credence.
‘Otherwise strong but in a liquidity crisis.’
How does that strength manifest itself, I wonder?
Based on how many levels deep the pyramid goes.
