I’m used to politicians being older than me and out of touch. I’m not sure how i feel about me being the one out of touch, especially when it comes to something involving games.
Right there with ya. I think I kinda like it, though? Gives me hope for the kids these days, despite their habits regarding my lawn.
At least it’s not Fortnite, AOC.
Which game would get a politician the most respect? I suspect it will hew along political lines. I vote “Papers, please”.

Rimworld. A politician who can not only defend up from raiders but will offer a heath plan including state subsidized bionic upgrades.
Plus one that is focused on maintaining an acceptable quantity and quality of housing.
Dwarf Fortress. If you can understand how the militia screen works you can run a country.
I am pretty sure that there are Republican Rimworld nations out there: enslaves visitors, zero healthcare and shoot (eat?) the old and infirm. Of course, while practicing a religion that prizes guns.
It’s hard to understand what this NYT article is even for. It maybe true that SBF didn’t answer any of the hard questions you think you asked, but if that’s the case, why write the resulting puff piece?

I find as I get older I often makes those kinds of spelling mistakes. It’s distressing. It’s like my brain sends the homynyn to my typing fingers and they pick the word they want to type, little betrayers.
