Again, the DAR isn’t the same thing as the Daughters of the Confederacy. The former celebrates the American Revolution, not the Secession.

That video is prior to arson in the Vans store that became a three alarm fire. It got much worse after dark.
I stayed in the building with the H&M store back in January. I loved it there and it was people of all colors enjoying those businesses that are now all devastated.

Ultimately though, those businesses are all insured. It’s the insurance companies that are gonna be footing the bill.
It looks more like a walk and loot than a big riot.
It’s conjecture but i wonder if the fact of wearing masks as a public good hadn’t slightly encouraged a bit of looting behavior as one’s identity is slightly anonymized.
Also, those people were not particularly aggressive so it’s strange to see basically no police presence at all there.

The far right WANTED this to become general lawlessness and looting. They wanted to tarnish the good name of BLM. Hence provocateurs.
And I doubt ALL of the shops are insured. Lots of SME probably aren’t.
I guess someone has to step up and be president…

I assumed that there was some requirement for insurance to be held by businesses, just like I’m essentially required to have homeowners insurance by the bank that I have my mortgage with.
Isn’t this the sort of shit why you guys have that ridicilous right to bear arms?
