So … not too long ago, live streams of the DC protests got cut. Massive amounts of sirens were then reported by local sources.

I…don’t think so. Have two friends down there who left about 20 minutes ago and things were pretty peaceful.

The stream that many were watching was the WaPo stream posted up-thread. And in that stream you could clearly hear the cameraman saying he had 20 minutes left on his battery pack. Then 5 minutes left…then it went dark.

Yeah, the sirens are up north. Someone who shares some genes of mine looped me in. This all occurred about 10-15 minutes after the WaPo stream ended. Fox’s also ended, as did USA Today’s. Even RT’s stream ended. Mind, I have no clue what was happening in relation to those sirens.

This group is within a couple of blocks of the White House and Lafayette Square Park.

And they’re also getting super close to a police cordon.

And there appear to be thousands of them.
