For some reason the reporter on the scene for KOIN the CBS affiliate keeps saying the tear gas is being “administered” by the police. Strange choice of words.

Everything was cool till about 30 to 45 minutes ago, from what I’m hearing. Last night was quite peaceful despite the official curfew. No curfew tonight.

This is old news by now, but I just wanted to mention that was an Australian journalist that got assaulted and the government is now trying to find out how to express our ‘concern’ to Trump.

This comes a year or so after A US cop murdered an Australian woman who came outside in our PJs after calling the police about suspicious noises outside her house (she was living in the US at the time). They really will beat and kill anyone they want. That actually happened in Minneapolis as well:

This is all just to say that the sentiment I have heard from people in Australia (even people who are right wing!) is one of complete sympathy for y’all having to endure this.
