Awesome

The crowd is cheering a guy with a spotlight who is highlighting the snipers on the roofs and in the upper floors of the surrounding buildings…

Backup stream, this guy’s right up on the front line.

The responses are about what you’d expect given how SPD handles things.

It’s a whole tread of him pointing out/looking at stuff in Portland.

yeah I called them out and some commenter told me to chill. Seems needlessly dumb to antagonize snipers.

I’ve read all of last week’s posts before adding my sympathy to understand what is going over there, but I ended up at a bigger loss for words. All of this is insane and irrational, and yet predictable.
By that I don’t mean protesters should be rational or sane, they’re right to be angry, I’ve been angry, but from the outside it makes it more tragic.
I may get off my ass to demonstrate this time, if there actually is a protest near me and not just on the capital - Covid shouldn’t be much of a concern, and our own pigs need to understand that it’s unacceptable too.

Robert E. Lee surrenders in Virginia.

Iowa City popping off.

Sound cannon about to be deployed in Seattle?

Strange since Seattle just lifted its curfew that was imposed through this Saturday.

There are a shitload more cops on the line tonight at the Seattle corner where shit has happened every night.

Like 3 times as many easily.

Fair amount of tear gas and flashbangs in Iowa City tonight.

Seems like protestors got some tips from HK…getting smart about traffic cones and having water ready to put it out.

This is one of the better commentary pieces I’ve seen. It is fascinating statistic on the NYD, which proves that is is possible to change police behavior.

Rob is up btw.

Haven’t read all the posts in the thread, but I scanned the last few hours’ worth and didn’t see any mention of the charging of the other three cops. Did I miss it?

It was in there someplace.
