Barring Iowa City, looks like we might finally have a peaceful night?
LA looks like it has something going on, but not getting much info, just a shot from what seems to be half a mile away from NBC.
Oakland was a straight up party in the streets.
Things got pretty rough in New Orleans. Tear gas used to break up a protest on a bridge. Protesters say things were peaceful. NOPD says protesters tried to break through their lines.
Seems as if it was pretty peaceful to me.

So far Portland and Seattle have remained calm, which neither had really done.
Portland the cops are extremely outnumbered and for some reason they gave themselves less room to fall back tonight, so they seem extra nervous about starting shit.
Seattle… well it’s Seattle. To date it’s always come out of absolutely nowhere and in an instant, but their lines are WAAAY back from where they’ve been. Previously they’ve been within like 5-10 feet of the line. Tonight they’re closer to 40.

What the fuck kind of response is “we shot the wrong person”? You should be shooting NONE OF THE PEOPLE. And to top it off by shooting at medics? Fire every single one of them immediately and prosecute them for war crimes.
I think they shouldn’t have ‘lines’ to break through. Let peaceful protestors go where they want. Stop trying to ‘contain’ them, it just creates confrontation.
This cop was so panicked at the glimpse of a possible weapon not even in the man’s hand that he shot through his own windshield?

This happened a few days back in Austin. I’m not sure why it doesn’t have more national attention; the police literally just shot a kid in the head. They used a less lethal round which lodged itself in the kid’s skull.

POTUS may no longer be in the secure White House internal bunker, but each passing day since Monday, he’s had more fencing put up and used police, military, and paramilitary personnel to extend the perimeter outside the White House.
The White House itself has become a bunker.
