This place is still very much a few minorities vs a forum full of white men. Even if you lot aren’t being racist/bigoted you’ll still argue until you are blue in the face rather than listen to and accept the minority lens. Taking a devils advocate position or trying to be neutral/objective in a race war is still standing with the other side. Its just tiring arguing with self centred white people.

Curious what folks think about this situation. Overall, I think the officer acted appropiately. He had a reason to suspect one might be armed, so having his weapon prepared was prudent, but he made it clear he didn’t want to shoot and tried to de-escalate as much as possible given the circumstances.

A search was reasonable , and once the situation was under control, he holstered his weapon.

I think the community had an appropriate reaction given the circumstances as well.

I wonder what the description was, the one that allowed him to ‘spot’ them?
