Just watching this now. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him anywhere near this angry before…

Ran across this one on Twitter. Too good not to share.

The Schott Foundation did not object and explicitly recognized the bad side of Marge in a statement, by the way.

I am laughing my ass off at the notion of a personal legacy foundation basically saying “yeah, that’s fair”.

Right? “Yep, we knew Marge, and yep, that’s a fair cop.”

I think there’s a bit of dust in the air around here. Please excuse me for a moment.

Are the chicks the band formerly known as the Dixie chicks?
Ah they are. That’s a pretty cool song.

That’s good. I mean musically, production values, especially the combination of visuals over the audio, and message, damn. I’m a big fan of the idea that Bob Dylan has expressed and tried to live up to, that music and art has a responsibility to address social justice. This is a fine example of it. This is Hurricanesque. A “Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll” that I can line dance to.

Yeah, good song and a powerful video.

Here’s my favorite song of the moment, and movement.

Lyrics:

Summary

Thief in the night
Tell the truth
White lives
Spreading lies
You should be ashamed
The bloodshed on your hands
Another man
Take off your badge
We all know it was murder
Murder, murder
Murder

We are dying, it’s the reason we are crying
We are crying

But we will never show fear
Even in my eyes
I will always rise
In wildfires
I ain’t never been scared
Even through my tears
I will always care
In wildfires

But we will never show fear
Even in my eyes
I will always rise
In wildfires
I ain’t never been scared
Even through my tears
I will always care
In wildfires

Thanks for this, really enjoying the album now.

Apparently the PPB decided to just arrest all the journalists last night.

They’re charging one with assaulting an officer. For… recording them.

3 people with press passes arrested in Portland.

The gun wielding lawyer couple have spawned off so many 'shops. There’s enough material for a whole thread, but I’ll just leave one of my favorites here.

Apparently the guy decided it was a good idea to do an interview and defend himself by literally accusing the protesters of being terrorists.

He sounds like someone that maybe shouldn’t have an AR-15.

And, conversely, exactly like the kind of person that wants an AR-15.

I found this article from Michael Harriot to be very compelling and eye opening. He really has a way of giving you a perspective from Black people that you may not have had before.

There is a poem in the article he uses effectively that is from 125 years ago that caught me off guard.

God, another video of a hotel manager calling police for a black woman and her children enjoying the hotel pool. The employee doesn’t work there anymore.

They should also go after the police for a) showing up and b) not leaving as soon as she showed them her room key.

Yeah, they announced it a few days ago, I think, after Lady A.

She’s wearing a mask, so I can’t be sure, but I’m PRETTY sure that is Karen under that mask!

I honestly hate the term “Karen”, now surpassing “Mary Sue”. It feels derogatory towards women.

AB is such a Sally.
