I really do feel terrible for anyone whose name is actually Karen right now. I also continue to note that “Karen” as an insult gets used 10X more than any male equivalent. I’m sure that’s purely coincidental.

Thinking back on it, I don’t remember as many videos/posts about men threatening to call police on POC. Men seem to go straight to fighting or just curse in general. Less call in cops to get involved.

Of course, the lack of videos could be indicative of biases too.

We’ll see how long they stick with it.

Personally I think they should not only remove the “Indians” moniker but should also remove Cleveland from the equation as well. They should name themselves after the county instead of the city. Therefore I humbly submit my choice for their new name. Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce to the people of Ohio, the Cuyahoga River Fire!!! Hey, its better than the Cleveland Mistakes

I’m so sad that this is what Trumpers are like. It’s beyond despicable (supposed Christians):

If I’m being honest, the most devout people I know are the worst people I know, almost without exception. I don’t know what it is, their whole life revolves around Jesus but they sure don’t pay fuck all attention to what he had to say.

I know a lot of great people that are devout as well, of course, not trying to insinuate otherwise.

I think it has to do with being forgiven of sin. Once they convince themselves that they have Jesus in their hearts they can do no wrong. They are righteous and therefore perfect.

This is scary. How can the police department fire him?!

Joliet Police Sgt. Stripped Of Powers After Blowing Whistle On Video Of Man Who Died In Custody

I will keep saying it: when a law enforcement officer is in fear for his life, he can kill without consequence. If someone deliberately creates an environment of fear for the police, they should be partially liable for the police abuses which their psyops have enabled.

I had some mild…empathy, I guess for the band formerly known as Lady Antebellum. But apparently their negotiations with the black karaoke singer also billing herself as Lady A broke down, and the band’s legal representation apparently decided the next move to make was to sue.

Eesh. That’s just terrible. What are they even doing?

Especially since Lady Anti-bellum was right there for the taking. It even works as an anti-war message keeping the Latin ‘bellum.’

I think the woman was demanding $10M from the band, so it’s probably a complicated mess now. This article makes it sound like the band offered to coexist and help promote her, even though they’ve legally held the trademark to Lady A for a decade or so. Then she demanded money so they’ve been forced to sue her to protect themselves.

Thanks for that. It’s definitely a mess for sure, and again when you drill down on the info, you see how complex a situation it really is.

You know, when the movie Religulous came out, that’s where I was hoping it would go because I completely agree with you. It’s like being religious gives them carte blanche to do whatever the fuck they want.

The gist: Google put in a security program where employees were told to check other employee’s badges. Guess who got stopped all the time?

I’m guessing Google doesn’t use huge brightly colored lanyards, which are a lot easier to ID. Campus security is important, but “show us your badges” is pretty idiotic and leads to the aforementioned racial profiling. Plus, social distancing! Honking, gaudy lanyards ftw.

Good Lord. After 39 years living here in America I don’t know why it still surprises me to learn that a lot of white people are fucking terrified of anyone who doesn’t look like them. What the fuck happened to you to make you this way? What are you so afraid of?
