Gas at the Fed building.

Seems like it might be some accelerationists trying to start shit and regular protesters trying to stop them.
Was some intra-protester pushing and shoving.

Are those knuckleheads trying to break into the courthouse?

Some were, then the Feds gassed them, which drew the attention and ire of the crowd, who mostly hadn’t given a shit until that happened.

A couple of them appear to be pounding on a door

Yeah, they got a lot more aggressive after the gas.

Before it was like… one dude fucking with the door, who other protesters kind of chased off and yelled at.
Since then 3 or 4 people have hammered on the door with shields.

Edit: “One of the mom’s behind me says she wants to go get a sledgehammer…”
Those are some metal moms.

Shot of the shield pounding, you mentioned earlier.

I’m surprised no one has done this:

I actually heard that the other night.
Except it was “Feeedds, come out and plaaaeeeaaay”.
Only for a second, but he sounded like he had the bottles and everything, was worth a smile.

Whelp this might get spicy.

“Who’s not afraid to get beat up?”

Edit: Mom gonna mule kick down the door. Okay then.

I think we should wait until the end of Feb. to do that. It is going to take some time to round up all those responsible, rendition to them to some shit hole country, and put them into MAGA re-education camps before exiling them to Russia.

Well, they just breached the courthouse.

Here come the Feds from the IRS building.

Wow, this is Captain Portland? He looks like the Grandad on British comedy shows.

You need a coup.

I think a coup is what we’re trying to avert.

We have an election in November and the way things stand currently, it’s looking pretty grim for Donald Trump. I’d say what we need is for it to be November already.

I was thinking along the lines of more people that follow this: (from Woolen_Horde’s link)

He figured they’d listen as he reminded them “that you take the oath to the Constitution; you don’t take the oath to a particular person.”

“What they were doing was unconstitutional,” David said. “Sometimes I worry that people take the oath of office or the oath to the Constitution, and it’s just a set of words that mean nothing. They really don’t feel in their heart the weight of those words.”

Sure, I think conscientious objection by government officials / federal officers would be a welcome thing. But I’m not very optimistic, it seems to be the case that law enforcement is overwhelmingly for oppression.

Well, January 20th. And I’m not at all convinced that Trump and some hardcore psychos won’t try to do something nuts to try to stop the transfer of power.
