This is really really good. It’s about the moms.

“The goggles, they do nothing”

Angle grinder deployed on the fence.

I mentioned earlier the OR AG filed a suit claiming the feds are violating 1st, 4th, and 4th amendment rights and requested a temporary restraining order. The judge rejected their request on the grounds the Oregon AG did not have standing.

I mentioned that lawsuit because it seemed like one of the last offramps available to the feds, however unlikely it was that they’d take it.

Now I’m wondering how long DHS wants to pay overtime for the guys stuck in the courthouse.

According to the judge, there isn’t enough evidence of a widespread practice or future risk to others. And if it’s just isolated incident(s), then the individual protestors are the ones who should sue.

although it involves allegations of harm done to protesters by law enforcement, no protester is a plaintiff here… The State simply does not have enough evidence that those unlawful seizures are likely to continue … It has presented no evidence of any official orders or policies and has presented no evidence that these allegedly illegal seizures are a widespread practice … Despite the broad language in the complaint, Oregon has shown — at most — that this type of seizure has happened twice.

I’ve been curious myself about how often people are being ‘kidnapped’ by these federal officers. Sounds like Oregon was only able to cite two cases?

That is my understanding. Pettibone seems like the obvious candidate, if he is willing. My lawyer friends assure me there are reasons for standing to be a consideration in cases, but this sure feels like a “who do you think you are?” slapdown.

You can check the court dockets for preliminary hearings of protestors. Look for the “USA V. [Name] … (Preliminary Examination)”. Obviously it’s not an exact measurement, but I’d say there’s 5, sometimes 10 cases a day. While a thousand or more protest each night.

edit: I know that doesn’t directly answer your question, just offering it as semi-related info. I am unaware of any other evidence of van abductions in Portland, though I have seen videos of federal officers in rental vans in another city.

Flashbangs in broad daylight in Seattle.

Hate to link Facebook, but it’s the only stream I could find atm.

It’s going to be real bad for those cops when they finally push too hard.

SPD was sad the Feds and PPB were getting all the attention, I guess.

“Don’t forget we’re also the Fucking Worst!”

Billboards up in Minneapolis now about how there are shootings in the metro hashtag SaveThePolice. Nothing to do with any actual incidents, no matter that oh I dunno that no funding cuts or policy changes or leadership changes have actually taken place, just GANG BANGERS GANG BANGERS URBAN WARFARE BE SCAAAAAAAARED bullshit.

I hope they all fucking die. I literally wish ill health and misery, ending in death, on the people behind this fear-mongering bullshit. Fuck them.

You can add the people that use footage of protests that have happened in Trumps reign to blame Biden for it.

Preach, brother.

Streamer above (apparently credentialed media) just took a flashbang and mace spray in the face.

Omari has been pretty neutral in the past as well, to the point that some people in Seattle thought he was an undercover cop.

TIL what the NFAC is.
