Were they responding to a shooting? I had figured that they were just there, because the fucking entire city is melting down, and cops are everywhere.
It’s actually 17 in IL, which is where he was from. However, the age is 18 in Wisconsin, so he was not legally carrying when he committed murder.
Also, is that kid wearing american flag crocs?

What I read was 18 for IL as well.

I thought it was 17 from something I read, but open carry apparently isn’t even legal within any city or town under Illinois law.
Also, it’s all moot since the dude actually committed multiple murders, and he’s on tape, including saying that he just killed somone.

I think they should go after whomever purchased the gun for him.

Amazing how these cops are able to peacefully arrest an armed murderer yet resort to seven shots in the back to another citizen. I wonder what the difference is?

It’d be interesting to see the bodycam footage from his arrest.
Huh, a falsehood from DJT. Weird.

Trump doesn’t understand how the National Guard works. He probably heard Evers say he’s calling up the National Guard and Trump thinks that means feds.
I think it’s more basic: someone else is doing the work and he’s taking all the credit.
That sounds like the first domino to fall. I would be mildly surprised if every team doesn’t follow suit tonight.

WOW. Good on them!! I hope more NBA teams follow suit.
This, to me, is a whole lot more impactful than kneeling during the anthem or anything like that.
Obviously, they’re the closest NBA franchise geographically to Kenosha. But also:
As a rather huge fan of the NBA, I applaud them.
