The last thing we need are more kids involved in the legal system, also, that man thinking a 6 year old would behave anything like however old he is just means he should never be involved in anything that shapes a child’s future.
Like your article pointed out, kids should get to be kids, and when I was in school, if the behavior problem was bad enough, you held them back a year, maybe even removed them from the early grades and just try again… did not send them to jail.

It probably goes without saying that I do not usually agree with everything these individuals or even the articles might express even if I agree with some general ideas expressed.
I’d put this in another topic but every time these come up, even in relevant topics, there is usually a confrontation of some kind of it being off-topic which still seems strange to me because I do not believe we would be where we are, in a number of countries, if it weren’t for the underlying racism behind some of these policies and notable figures at the top of many the other topics.

That plantation story is heartbreaking. I mean, what kind of monster pushes back against being told about the lives of slaves during a goddamn SOUTHERN PLANTATION tour? That’s like going to Auchwitz and saying “can we just skip all this Jewish stuff and concentrate on the daily lives of the guards?”
I have travelled in the south extensively, from Alabama to Missouri to Louisiana to Florida. Everyone says the people are nice and friendly, and they are. But I’m white. And there is this undercurrent of confederate flags and good ol’ boys and the dumbest motherfuckers on the planet. My family came here in the 30s from Germany and it would be SICKENING if I ever found out someone even kept some kind of secret Nazi flag around, even if it wasn’t displayed. Putting it on your porch? I’d go tear that shit down and get in a fight with any distant family member who did it.
What is wrong with these assholes? It’s always been a national embarrassment to me. If only they could accept their culpability, have some cultural embarrassment about it, and move on like the Germans seem to be trying to do. To revel in the glory of the Confederacy makes me want to kick them out of the country.
The Confederates Flag is the flag of Traitors, Racists and Failures. It is a symbol of one of our nations biggest failures, and should remembered as such.
