The result? 3 black teenage boys wrongly convicted of murder and 36 years of their lives gone.

Later, another UPS guy shows up but he’s white, so obviously not suspicious and the lady has no problems with telling the white UPS guy about how suspicious the black UPS guy is. Just astounding.

I spent way too many posts trying to explain how costly that would be, but he later went into how the fact that since we didn’t support him it was the same as suffering racism. I suppose if someone equates racism with getting some sort of unearned privilege or demand, then they might think that. That’s just a person who doesn’t understand what experiencing racism is or why no amount of money or promises that never really happen will ever… fix that kind of hurt and pain.

The right leaning group is especially quick comparing everything under the sun to racism. I suspect less than half of those people do it knowing how wrong it is. The others just don’t get it.

Obviously someone who’s never had to deal with a single adversity in their life and expects everyone to bend to what they want - even if said proposition should break the laws of physics. Equating not getting what you want to racism made me so angry. I told him he should go experience some real life. Volunteer with terminally ill patients or work with the homeless for several months to find some perspective on life.
