From the journal of Nick Valentine, synth private eye:
I was hanging out with all the loose companions at the Red Rocket Truck Stop like I always do, when my buddy the Sole Survivor hit me up for some business..
I have to say, survival mode changes everything and makes this game feel... Right. All the random elements in the game and the size of the world are invisible when you can just teleport or reload the game all the time. Kinda like XCOM has all those mechanics for retreats and saving dying soldiers which you never use if you just reload when the game goes sour.
Now that Bethesda has figured out how to make gameplay matter let's see if they invent something making wooden characters and boring dialogs acceptable.
That was great Nick! I felt like it was a review that had a bit of House of Cards with Kevin Spacey talking to the camera. So it seems like the content really isn't an improvement over the meh content of the base game.
