Grabbing pussy has already been deemed ok, right? And kids aren’t as innocent as we think they are, at least the brown ones. Or did I miss a memo?

One may grab the cunt, but woe be unto you who calls another one.
The proposed GOP farm bill before the House would vastly increase government handouts to the ultra-wealthy disguised as farm aid (by using Donnie’s favorite thing, the pass-through corporation.) Oh, and these rich “farmers” would also now be able to get extra government subsidies by claiming all kinds of relatives are “actively engaged” in the farm. But that doesn’t mean those people have to work on the farm - no, all they have to do is literally phone in to a conference call.
This bill stinks so much that the article quotes people from both the Heritage Foundation and AEI, usually safely pro-GOP, as opposing it.
I do like the way CNN wrote their article. More specific finger-pointing muckraking like this, please:
32 members of Congress received farm subsidies from 1995-2016. Some of those members have been vocal in their support for the SNAP work requirements.
Rep. Doug LaMalfa, R-California, whose $1,747,174 in farm subsidies puts him at the top of congressional farm subsidy recipients, voted for the bill in committee and praised its “common sense provisions”
Rep. Ralph Abraham, R-Louisiana, who has received $444,640 in federal farm subsidies, lauded the SNAP work requirements, saying that they will “help people break out of the cycle of poverty and climb the economic ladder.”
Rep. Kristi Noem, R-South Dakota, who has received $573,568 in federal farm subsidies, said the bill “establishes real work requirements for our nutrition programs,” and is a “big step in the right direction.”
Oh, did I mention this farm bill also cuts SNAP? Because, like every good Republican knows, government handouts are morally reprehensible - if they go to poor people.
Geez. So people in desperate need are forced to work even if the situation for them is untenable, then rich people who should work won’t need to work as they get free money from the Feds.
I am honestly surprised this bill doesn’t stipulate that people who receive SNAP benefits must not only work, but actually go work on a farm doing manual labor in order to receive their benefits. “You can even keep 2% of what you harvest! See how generous we are!” as the million dollar subsidies roll in to businessmen and senators.
The fucking GOP isn’t even trying to cover up how evil they are anymore. It’s just “let’s get everything we can before people wake up and kick us out again”.
VOTE! Early and often!
LOL.
Mitch McConnell just canceled the August senate recess.
Why?
He’s transparent about it at least: to keep senators in DC instead of campaigning at home. 26 Democratic-held seats are up for election this November versus just 9 Republican seats.

It’s not like the GOP senators want to go home and see their constituents anyway. They aren’t real big into townhalls these days.

Yeah, of course the shitty GOP folks want to stay in DC, well away from the people they represent. Would be nice if the Dem Sens had a chance to actually campaign on how insane the current administration and its Senate/House lapdogs are though.
There is much skepticism amongst the congressional press corps that this canceled recess will hold for much longer than a week or so.
I mean, if the Dems want to just not show up it prevents them from having a quorum anyway, right? So the weasel fucks can scream all they want and accomplish nothing, no?

That can’t be real. I literally LOL’d.

I’ve got to wonder if disgruntled staffers are doing this sort of thing on purpose. It seems to happen so often.

Maybe they’re hiring based on ideology instead of, you know competency. When you don’t really think facts are important, why would your staffers think otherwise?
But let’s face it, most the people this is directed at will not care or notice.
There’s too much confusion (about D-Day), can’t get no relief.
What about when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

I guarantee you if you posted that on Social Media it would spread. For an added bonus, say something inhumane about Obama and Hillary and you’d get thousands of retweets or likes or hearts or whatever it is.
It wasn’t over when that happened!!!
Pearl Harbor is evidence of our long friendly history with Japan.
