I was thinking more along the lines of NE, definitely not CE. I just don’t know I fully believe he actually follows the law as much as it seems.
Trump is NE, I think. Solely focused on his own gain, with no thought of the impact of his actions on others. Sessions obsession with law and order, with no mercy or justice, strikes me as LE.

I just came back from a run, and took a quick peek at what’s happened while I was out. Lo and behold there’s a half-dozen posts about whether or not Jeff Sessions is Lawful Evil. (He is exactly that.) Just had to drop in to say how awesome that is. Where else but QT3? Damn, I love this place.

I’m in agreement with the LE designation. He just wants to enforce the laws to fit the way his narrow view of the world works as @Nesrie notes.
One other thing about him is he’s definitely an accomplished politician… something Trump is not. I think Trump envies that about him. He has an air of respect from former congressmen and women that Trump can’t abide, which is probably another reason he’s still in the job. He knows if he fires him all those people may actually impeach him for it.
No, there are very few things that I’m as certain on my life than Donald Trump is Chaotic Evil. I’d say one of the only good things of his administration is that generations of dungeon master will have a good role model for how to play CE leader. I agree Session is LE
It was one of the on-going debates in my D&D group, that had too many engineers and chess players, how to play a CE NPC. Properly playing evil PC or NPC wasn’t hard, but the group was just too logical for Chaotic ones.
I’m don’t live a particularly a structured life, and I do ok in an uncertain environment, but I find the chaos of this administration the thing that drives me the most bat-shit crazy.

Pretty much. He wants evil laws and enforcement to keep the brown people down. He’s more than happy to twist existing laws to that purpose (see the removing kids thing). But he wont do it without back up, though he’ll joyfully exploit every loophole he can find.
I used to think Trump was Neutral Evil. Selfish beyond all reason, but given his lying insanity I’m fine with saying he’s CE. Laws and rules are meaningless to him and seem to confuse and anger him constantly.
This nexus of political commentary and D&D geekery is a perfect distillation of Quarter to Three’s purpose in the universe.

While most certainly true, I have to think there are still Republicans in Washington (and around the country) who aren’t happy about this.
I will happily take the likes of George Will and Bill Kristol aboard the sanity train. They dont even have to stay for more than a few stops along the line. I disagree with them on just about everything but they are absolutely on the right side when it comes to defending the United States democracy from the rise of Trump, so I dont care if they snicker at their fellow travellers on the carriage. I hope more of them get on board. We need all decent thinking people regardless of where they came from.
