Are we micromanaging Rod’s new career or letting him free will it based on what he wants to view?
Joking aside, that’s a like a work nightmare for someone. “You did what?!? It links where?!?!”

Heh. I know you kid but there is still room at the table for actual conservative views. We don’t have to balloon our government for every social program someone can come up with. We should push for efficiency. You can advocate for personal responsibility and improvement without, you know, removing our hearts to do so or blaming one group for one thing and giving a complete pass to another…
There really is such thing as too much regulation, and you don’t want the fox running the hen house either.
I prefer we reasonable people from both parties at the table… i just think we lost the reasonable from one side entirely, and as for the far left, the ability to pay for things often seems like an after thought.

Don’t worry not paying for things is officially bi-partisan.
We do pay the lowest amount of tax, compared to any other industrialized country.
Increase the taxes on the highest earners, and put a VAT on everything, and we are done!
Oh, and increase the minimum wage to $15.00. If a company can’t pay a living wage, it shouldn’t be up to the government to make up the difference.
With all of that, we should be able to pay for free Community college or Trades schools for everyone, and universal healthcare.
Increase the taxes on gasoline, and remove the subsidies on Oil companies, and I think I can squeeze in an infrastructure program as well.
That should solve it all. Except universal preschool. That might be a bit more work.
The right honorable candidate Kris Kobach thinks it is fine for him to continue overseeing the vote counting for the too-close-to-call primary race in which he is running.
"Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach says he is willing to consider formally removing himself from the further counting of votes in his tight Republican primary race with Gov. Jeff Colyer.
But he said Thursday evening that he would be doing it just to make Colyer “feel good.”"

How in the hell is this even allowed?
It’s what happens when traditions are usually followed. Or it’s what happens when powerful people do everything they can to retain power, and create loop holes for themselves.

I assume it would require Republicans at some level of power to actually have morals so…
I guess I need to get a calculator that handles more than 9 trillion, 999 billion… to add up the cost of all of this :-).
$80 billion for public education to get extended to colleges and trade schools (Democrats need to find a better way to pitch it, because it’s not ‘free’ per se.) The increase in defense spending covers that (note, that’s just the increase in defense spending. )
Increasing the minimum wage doesn’t cost the government anything. We might have to pay a bit more for our fast food and consumer products, but the return is more than worth it as the increased wages will go directly into the economy, reduce the numbers in poverty, and we can stop subsidizing Walmart (et al.)
Instead of a gas tax, a revenue positive carbon tax. That can go into infrastructure, R&D, and eventually reducing the debt.
Massive tax overhaul. Health care is a different beast, but it’s time the US joins the rest of the rational world. The US has a $19 trillion economy - 25% of the world GDP. That’s enormous. It’s downright criminal how we’ve chosen to use it.

Chris Collins announces he’s “suspending” his campaign, in light of his insider trading charges.
Still unknown: how the NY GOP will get his name off the ballot, or how they’ll get the name of a replacement on there.
As mentioned in that dumb Ocasio-Crowley tempest in a teapot last month, New York has some terrible election laws. Getting off the ballot is hard, if you’ve already won a primary:
Sabato’s Crystal Ball keeping this district as “Likely Republican”, unless the NY GOP can’t figure out a way to get Collins off the ballot.

Yeah, once they locked up Hillary they needed something else to do, and there was this black guy standing around looking, well, black, so they called the cops on him.
Lucky for the country, trump’s indicted cronies are forgiven because that’s how grace works.
He gave Iran $4 billion in taxpayer money to make Hezbollah great again. #collusion
Wait, we want to lock up Jeff Sessions now?
