As they literally show a room full of white people in their seventies and eighties, half of whom appear to be nodding off, while the other half mumble affirmative noises at Cruz’s Fox News talking points, assuming they can even hear what Cruz is saying at all.
I keep seeing things like this and thinking half the GOP base is going to be dead in a decade.
Maybe that should have gone in the optimism thread?

I like how Cruz says Beto is out of step with most Texans, yet he also says it is a close race. Something there doesn’t quite add up.
This is a pretty egregious power grab. I guess this is the modern GOP. Imagine arguing that even though your term ended at midnight last night, you’re still the governor until your successor is sworn in, so you might as well appoint replacement Supreme Court Justices in the hours between the two.
