No more than we here in Michigan do. Currently the lame duck legislature here is busy weakening the minimum wage and throwing as many roadblocks as possible in the way of the voting improvements from this last election.
The only way to really stop this shit is voting them out of power completely and undoing what they’ve done.

The whole concept of lame-duck government making consequential decisions is so strange. You guys should the lame-duck period to however long it takes to count the ballots.

Ironically the Constitution said to start on December 1st, but also allowed them to change the time. Since they drafted said document in March, they used March. Eventually the 12th Amendment cut that down to January, but that’s still too long in a world where you can cross a continent in an afternoon.
I’d love to see it reverted back to December 1st, as originally intended.

Trump is the embodiment of many of the specific flaws that conservatives perceived as part of liberal ideology. Things like a sense of entitlement, a refusal to accept responsibility for one’s own actions, a lack of moral fiber, etc.
I think you just don’t get the perspective he’s speaking from.
He’s responding to so called conservatives, who abandoned everything they pretended to believe in, and are now saying that he’s the one who isn’t conservative.
