My coop partner and I have the world set to Hard right now (we’re not great) - we’re at level 40, about 55 SHD or whatever you call the new levels, but we’ve decided to do checkpoints at 4/Heroic. We can easily get killed especially if someone comes up behind us and we get surrounded, but it’s nice to not have a lot of purple drops after we clear the checkpoint. It does tale us a long time.

A rando I grouped with that I invited to the QT3 clan has a very effective blind build that helps us take down CP4s.

I just discovered the joys of the shield. Really kind of cool trying to keep facing the enemy while chipping away at them. Get close, pop Banshee, finish 'em off with the sawed-off. A bit dicey against the bomb-throwing warhounds though.

I did 37 of 40 required hyena bounties for the league challenge thinking I had the remainder of the event time to finish it but looks like it resets weekly (tonight) during maintenance. Fuuck! Haha, was looking forward to getting an exotic cache.

You go to NYC in the WONY expac and kill the big bad guy finishing the story, freeing you to return to DC.

Kinda sucks that I hit 40 halfway through New York storyline, so all the xp I get now is ‘wasted’.

Nope. When I got out of NY on my second character, I instantly popped up to Shield Level 39. It stores the experience, nothing is wasted. Those “ding” moments you get in NYC after 40 but before you get Shield Levels? That’s your level ups. You just get delayed gratification.

If anyone else is collecting the 52 Snitch Card elite enemies, you can cheese them by going out the South gate of the White House to sniper scope distance to check if it’s the one you’re missing (they spawn every 30 minutes at the road between the grass and the holiday display) and running back into the inner gate, waiting for it to close completely before going back out again.
