After looking at the map a bit and my new nation, I would like another 24 hours if that doesn’t hurt too much. My list keeps building on things I want to do and check :).

Hosting postponed for QToldschool by 24 hours. The game will now host at 23:03 GMT on Saturday February 6th.

I might need a short extension on Oldschool. Hosting is close to when I get home tonight.

Postponed by 12 hours!

Turn is in. Thanks!

Sorry to be that person but could I get another short extension for Oldschool. Now that I’m back from the trip, I get the flu. Yay.

Hosting postponed for QToldschool by 24 hours. The game will now host at 10:36 GMT on Friday February 12th.

Feel better soon. …

Been summoning those disease demons again?

Get well soon!

Ot might be suffering from too many Philly cheesesteaks. And the way to beat cholesterol induced flu-like heart attacks are with SHOCK THERAPY!! *

So, I will blast out news about the game that perhaps everyone else knows! Feel free to add to this and shock Ot into health!

Pelagia has at least one of each Elemental Royalty. But that Fire King was embarrassingly naked of gear.
There are still only 3 globals up, even though its near turn 60.
Niefel has been the recipient of a barbarian attack pretty much once every five turns- I think I took Misfortune 1.
Sauromantia is besieging one of, if not the very last Berytos castle.
Acrocephale lost his pretender circa turn 10, in what should have been an easy battle against independents. (Poor botbaddict, your cursed luck follows you…)
The world is apparently littered with sceptics. Niefel has had to resort to summoned scouts.
Did you know that it costs more water gems to cast Sea of Ice than Thetis Blessing?

(*not really)

Funny, Pelagian border guards were just playing count the Arch Devils (and worse) in Niefelheims lands. Been a bit of blood hunting going on there? :)

I was just wondering if everyone was getting sick of the sunlight like I was ;).

Nioce!

Thanks everyone! I feel mostly better today, but still took the day off from work just in case. I just sent my turn in.

Unfortunately, finding a good Philly cheesesteak out here in the suburbs is not so easy so I don’t eat as many as I’d like. There are plenty of bad pizza/cheesesteak places though.

Interesting, sounds like I’m falling behind in the SC race.
I think Arco is the only nation I haven’t seen at all this entire game. That’s some rough luck.
The lack of scouts isn’t helping of course.

With OldSchool, I’ve now set myself to AI Controlled (I hope). Not much more left for me to do at this point, except a summary of my game which will happen much later of course, once the game wraps up. Good luck everyone. I was buoyed by my strong start to begin with, but alas, after emerging from one defensive war to go headfirst into a second, on two fronts became a little too much for a shaken nation.

Uncool. Imho you should’ve given us warning that you were going to do that.

Turn still has not hosted, so he can undo it by simply sending in a new 2h file. If he had already gone AI, we would not see the notification that a turn is waiting/has been sent in for Berytos.

I believe Strato is posting now, with the bulk of the time before hosting, so he can warn us.

I did.

And in the interest of keeping the game going, and not holding it up further, sending to AI mode is the best way forward. Further to that point, there is nothing more I can contribute, especially after putting the offer out to help make items for anyone interested. Surprisingly, the interest wasn’t there. I have no NAP agreements with anyone, so the AI will happily do as it pleases. The capital is under siege, another fort is ready to go down, and I am left with one fort sitting on a wasteland that will undoubtedly be sieged sooner rather than later.

I set it to AI in game. I can of course reverse it, which is why I jumped on it as soon as possible.

Oh, yeah - I did read that. OK - sorry. Reading comprehension fail (the fae aren’t exactly known for their libraries…).

Yeah with Berytos in a weakened state, it made the most sense to go after you next. We did talk about how it was kind of shitty of us, but that’s probably not much consolation.

I am sad to see you go AI since I was looking forward to seeing what Buttercup had in store. It’s obviously in my interest for Berytos to go AI though, so I probably shouldn’t say anything more about it either way.
