So if I see this correctly, Pelagia could storm the Ryleh held throne this turn, as well as attacking the Oceania held throne, giving him his last 2 needed to win. He still needs to claim them, but I believe he has a Pelagian plethora of H3 priests…I could be wrong. Could I? NAAAAHHH…

Nief has easy access to the Rlyeh throne right next to his capital, the TNN throne on his border under siege by an Agartha God, and a Pelagia throne currently under siege by an unstoppable group of Nief SCs. Thats 5 thrones for an easy Nief win.
Yet, as usual, its whine, whinge, boohoo, sob, nasty Pelagia. Every single turn now. So dull.
Maybe if I withdraw from the Rlyeh throne and let Nief have it, and lose my throne Nief has under siege, then will he stop complaining?
No of course not, even when Nief has easy victory within his grasp, it’ll still be non-stop whinge, whinge, whinge about Pelagia :)

Well, I have to say I am ready to concede the game to Pelagia. While holding only 3 of the thrones, he has shown that he can shrug off a lot of attacks while still taking out some nations while staying on non-combatant status with others.
Not sure where others stand, but that’s my position.
Ouch, I guess Nief didn’t enjoy that turn very much…
I was hoping to have a shot at this one, but I’ve probably fallen too far behind. I think part of that has been as a bit of the land arm of Pelagia and so an easier target. As much as it might not seem like it, Akaoni, the war with Nief has worn me down. It’s really put a break on my expansion and now other fronts are opening up.
Still, I’d like to keep going. But then, Sauromatia still has an interesting game ahead while I could see others wanting to call it.
I think we can let Nief/Agartha in on a little secret.
When Agartha launched their initial sneaky attack, Pelagia was badly overstretched. Pelagia was fighting 4 enemies at that point and had very few land forces available, Agartha could have easily pushed Pelagia off the land to the south-east, and probably taken a good chunk of Sauro east of the water bottleneck.
But for some reason, Agartha backed off and let us regroup. I still can’t figure out why. Pelagia was in big trouble at that point. Lack of scouting maybe?
And theres one thing I don’t think is any kind of secret. EA Pelagia are my new favourite underwater nation.
They can be a bit pathetic on land, but damn, they are brutal at underwater combat. To think I picked these guys at random…

Ot, you have been playing very well, with counters to my moves promptly showing up a turn or two later, and dragging in much more of my forces than I had wanted. And yes, you being the “land arm” made you the most viable target for me.
Alright, I will go ahead and declare/set the game finished, with the victor being Pelagia.
Everyone, please start working on those AARs! I would love to see them, especially from Arco, Oceania, Ryleh, and Berytos.

I never understood this attitude to prematurely quitting games personally.
We have players who say they rarely see the late game, and now after months of time devoted, surely this is a chance to experiment, try out new strategies, have fun? This is ultimately about having fun, right?
Winning or losing really doesn’t matter that much does it…

I know Sauro and TNN expressed some interest in continuing, while others have not. If they, plus you, have an interest in continuing, I will not declare the game finished, and you all can continue.
However, I assumed with you posting “secrets”, that you were of the mindset the game was over.
