Just to make sure it was clear, I was totally joking. It was definitely awesome seeing Daggerfall again. :)

Hah, no worries. Honestly I could see that being SOMEONE’S complaint.

Yeah I realized that after I posted. I thought I was being patently absurd and then realized that I could never outdo the genuine absurdity with abounds on internet discussion forums. That’ll teach me. :)

Do we have a QT3 guild? You can join 5, apparently.

We do but I think I’m the only one that logs in with any kind of regularity. Honestly, I’m not sure if I have invitation privileges. Also in the OO guild Acolytes of Hermaes Mora which has at least a few semi regular players. You can message me @Redfive and if I can invite you I’ll be happy to.

Sigh. So my main character is immune to vampirism. This frustrated by the fact that I’m in a vamp guild and get to listen to everyone talk about how awesome it is all the time.

I have opened three tickets. The first ticket was responded to over email where they told me to open a different type of ticket. Nice. I’ve opened two more and they’ve been ignored for four days now. I’m an ESO Plus member, but in ESO membership does not have privileges.

But the icing on the cake is I cannot even post on the ESO forums to complain about this. You need an “invitation.” Which, if I ever got one, would have been around two years ago during the beta. If you need another invitation you have to… open another ticket.

I have now almost opened more tickets in one month of ESO that I have in 10 years of WoW.

Werewolves > Vampires

Not so next patch! You don’t get the 15% stamina regen bonus unless you actually slot in the werewolf ultimate.

(I really dislike the vampire discoloration though. I added the eyeshadow and black lipstick to my very dark-skinned dunmer, a subtle change that made him look textured and awesome, but with the vampire coloration it just looks like…eyeshadow and black lipstick.)

Where did you find this info? I’d love to see the upcoming changes.

I can’t find the 2.1 notes on the forums anymore, so here’s a redditpost with the list. You can google 2.1.1 pts notes for the update today (which is smaller and incremental.) Since this is still “public test” changes are still possible.

Why do they continue to make the argonian racial skills suck so bad?
Is it because we have awesome tails?

It’s because you get the punny names, Wasted-Nine-Skillpoints.

Still loving the PvP in this game. Finally made alliance rank 30 entirely by ganking alone. Big changes are ahead with the impending release of the Imperial City. I’m a little worried that the combat has been slowed down a bit too much (care bears complaining and hand wringing about a low TTK (Time To Kill) on the ESO forums).

Yesterday they did an ESO Live show on twitch and if the interviews of Rich Lambert and Mat Weathers are anything to go by, ZOS looks like a group of really cool people. You can check the youtube video out here

Wow, rank 30. That’s quite a lot of ganking!

I’m also a fan of the PvP, but I can’t get myself interested enough to advance in veteran ranks. I did start another character just to play on Blackwater Blade though.

I am curious whether BWB gives less AP than the veteran PvP campaigns though. If you kill someone completely on your own, how much AP do you get?

I’ve never actually played the non vet campaign BWB. By the time they implemented it, I was way into my VR’s. From what I have heard though, it’s a great experience and I would assume that the AP gain is just like the other campaigns. Eventually you will level yourself out of the campaign even if all you do is pvp. It’s also supposedly a much more hybrid like experience where everybody has higher hit points and you can mix stamina and magicka skills a little more.

I honestly wish I had had the opportunity to ease into pvp that way. I still remember being lvl 10 fresh out of siege training school and thinking I could take on vet rank players. A tried jumping a vet 10 DK and got killed in like 2 shots. As I was just trying to take it all in and figure out how to respawn he used an emote to dig my grave and then play the flute over it. I couldn’t stop laughing.

If I get a single kill on your average player riding his shiny new spotted senche mount or looking at his map trying to figure out where to head to next, I get about 700-850 AP assuming they are roughly v10-14 and haven’t been killed recently and probably have a few kills themselves under their belt. Once after I was killed having completed a maniacally long kill streak (50+) I got a tell from the player who killed me saying I was worth over 1100 AP. :)

The orc capital of Orsinium is coming on November 2nd for PC, Nov 17th on Xbox One, and Nov 18th on PS4. 2500 spacebux, which is uh… $20 real dollars?

And free for subscribers, as all the DLC’s are.

So, way late to the party as usual, but been playing this the last couple of weeks. Have a stamina and magic build of all classes sitting at levels 10-12 ish. Having a really hard time trying to decide what character to focus on, as I like quite a few of them. Some questions, and looking for a bit of advice.

  1. I know every single build you ever look at has all points into either magic or stamina, and all focus on those skills/weapons. I’ve actually been playing a few different classes that have split resources and utilize both. I’m quite sure that this sucks end game, just like all MMOs, where min/max is king, but I have to say, for leveling, it’s much much better. Being able to draw from 2 decent resource pools, instead of just one, means that I don’t run out of resource half way through any fight that matters. In short, to me, the sustain outweighs the DPS increase you get from min/maxing. I have no idea at what point in the game that changes, but at least at low levels, you’re much better off going hybrid. The question would be, is an end game hybrid build at all possible?

  2. Out of all the skillsets, which ones do you find do well at end game, and in PvP. I’m leaning towards nightblade at the moment, as it seems to be one of the more complete builds class skill wise. Straight up magic or stamina based sorc seems to be a no brainer as well. The problem with this being, I love my hybrid “paladin” templar build…

Cheers!
