Don’t be afraid of out of date libraries. A lot of libraries don’t change much at this point, and most authors don’t bother to update them just to mark them as ‘current’ for any given ESO version.
I agree with Map Pins though (and is why I also recommend Bandits UI - same author, and saves a lot of time trying to pick and choose stuff). Obviously, Bandits UI probably won’t cover everything and you’ll still slam in a bunch of others.
Best bet is to browse each category on esoui, which sorts by date updated. Try to pick from mods newer than… maybe Oct 2020? And if there are two mods that do the same thing but one is 6+ months more recently updated, chances are good it has replaced the other one you are looking at.
EDIT: Also, libDebugLogger is here it appears: LibDebugLogger : Libraries : Elder Scrolls Online AddOns

I am currently playing a sorcerer and I am really not ‘feeling it’. I think part of the problem is that I feel fragile and I have to use a bunch of abilities at once. Like I need to turn on my regen spell by switching bars, and have 3 AoEs to get going and then a few different kinds of attacks and what not. Maybe I want something a bit simpler to play.
I would like to play a heavy armor warrior type that can take a bit of damage and deal it out. Something that is simpler to play but can solo most content. Any suggestions? Or are all classes like this?
Sorcerers are basically invincible, just keep critical surge up and gear for spell crit then do your damage. I don’t use the second bar at all. My setup is:
1: force pulse (spammable)
2: crystal shards (use only when it procs)
3: wall of elements (AE, use primarily on groups/bosses)
4: critical surge (always keep up, has a 30+ second duration so not too annoying)
5: the scamp pet (AE, use primarily on groups/bosses)
And then I gear with mother’s sorrow and necropotence for a ton of crit with the iceheart monster set for extra survivability, replacing one of the icehearts with the crazy-ass lifesteal ring of the pale order when solo.
Very easy to play, completely at range, fine single-target damage, lots of AE, and you basically only die if you get one-shot.

I do not have any of that healing gear. My highest level character is level 22. My sorceror is only level 18.
Only the ring of the pale order is healing gear. Iceheart procs a damage shield too, but really not necessary for a magsorc. For the rest of it just use critical surge and you should basically never die in solo content. Get the crit mundus stone buff too.
Has anyone played The necromancer class and if so what are your thoughts on it?I realized it had been added recently and was trying to find some info on YouTube but the one guide I looked at was pretty terrible.

Do you mean the volatile familiar?
Yes, my main is a magcro. Once you get a bit of decent gear, magcro is pretty damn hard to kill. I’ve been working on soloing most of the overworld bosses, just me and my skeleton pets.
This is the guide I I used, for the most part. I’ve strayed a bit from it now just based on my own style of play, but while I was leveling and gearing up it was pretty useful.

If you still don’t like sorc even with stusser’s advice, consider a stamina warden. Not the top-end DPS’er in end-game content (currently), but very robust. Granted, any stamina class would let you wear heavier armor (even sorc I think). Magicka classes tend to be the ‘favored’ choice when doing end-game raids and such though, if that matters to you. Be a dark elf or khajiit, and you can swap between stamina and magicka on most classes (for an in-game gold price, though).
Yeah, he does AE damage when you hit his button.
Already posted about in the boardgame thread, but relevant here too I think:
If you don’t know Chip Theory, they do ridiculously lavish poker-chip based boardgames with a heavy emphasis on solo and coop play. And now, apparently, they’re doing an ESO licensed boardgame.
That’s weird. Elder scrolls online vs just elder scrolls.
Someone else has the Skyrim license. And I mean, it’s a different era, etc.
There’s already a Skyrim boardgame? I honestly don’t know why I was surprised.
Anyway, still could have been ES (as opposed to Skyrim) vs ESO. An “online” physical boardgame is confusing and silly.

Tabletop Simulator has entered the chat.
Well, they’re not advertising it as “Elder Scrolls Online”, but I don’t think there’s any other reason to use the ESO logo and have the Zenimax Online logo on the announcement since Zenimax Online are specifically the ESO people and have no involvement with the larger IP.
Templar is what you’re looking for probably. They have an AOE attack they get early on, that also heals them. Pretty much indestructible. Great solo class.
I’m still early in my revisit of this game at level 15 on my new character. What is the difficulty level supposed to be? I like how levelling enemies means I can go anywhere but it also means the challenge is always the same? I can kill the normal mobs I run into in a few seconds, probably use three skills and I’m not doing anything optimal. This makes the combat pretty boring and lessens the desire to level or find new gear. Why should I care to get a more powerful weapon or skill when I can faceroll stuff already? Hopefully this is just me being level 15 and in some sort of extended tutorial and the difficulty ramps up at some point.

I’ve seen this sentiment expressed in multiple places. From what I’ve read, you won’t get a sense of ‘progression’ until level 50 when you switch to Champion Points. Apparently you actually get significantly weaker at lvl 50 until your get some CPs under your belt.
I’m not sure how much weaker though. This is a game where folks can solo world bosses and even some veteran dungeons. It may never get ‘hard’ outside of end-game raids/trials.
Not heard that myself and I don’t remember that being the case, although I haven’t been a fresh level 50 for a while and things have definitely changed over that time that could in theory have affected that. Doesn’t really make sense to me though given that the open world scales you to level 50 regardless. Maybe they just mean in group content?
I haven’t cared about XP in years, FWIW. The new Champion Points system does make them feel more relevant but it’s still a dripfeed and
