Most of the going are outdated versions of Madden and other EA Sports games. Who the hell is still playing those?
I’m still playing FIFA 18, because it’s better than fIFA 20 by a very, very wide margin.
Nice. Thanks for the tip. I haven’t played one since Fifa 2001, so I keep threatening to come back to the series one day but never actually take the leap. Still, FIFA 18, I’ll try to remember that.
Do they still have an excellent pop song playing in the main menu like in the early days of the series? Back when I played the series they had Blur’s Song 2, Chumbawamba’s Tub Thumping, and Fifa 2001 had a good Moby song.
Not only did they refund me, but they did it in 10 minutes. Wow!
I just told them “I bought this yesterday and you announced it for Gamepass today”
lets play zombie army 4! wow so cool! cant beleive MS is really being cool!
Instead of mostly terrible pop music it’s completely terrible hip hop now.
Try getting a windows server license. 😉
For a while around 16/17/18 they had some nice stuff going on. I genuinely like Sofi Tukker and I discovered them through FIFA. Like Jack Howitzer said though, these days it’s almost all hip hop and a lot of it isn’t very good.
I followed these instructions. I now have 36 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

But when I open the Xbox app on my PC it says, “Get Game Pass”.

When I click Get Game Pass the Manage button below starts off saying Join Game Pass then quickly changes to Manage.

When I click Manage I see this -

When I click Manage for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate it takes me to a webpage and show the first image in this post.
I have restarted the Xbox app several times. Am I doing something wrong? I cannot play games.
E - also logged out of the app and back in.
Have you updated the app via the windows store?
Also congrats on the longggggg subscription.
I recently added some time and I am locked in till 1/2024.
Updating the app didn’t help.
I hope so? Right now it’s looking like I wasted $195 + tax.
Time to count a few Mississippi’s and try again?
Just curious, if you go to https://account.microsoft.com/services do you see your Game Pass subscription listed there?
As far as MS knows, you have a 3-year subsciption to XBGPU. There’s no membership/subscription reason why you shouldn’t be able to play games on your pc.
Well that’s a good sign. And if you open the Microsoft Store app and then click the ‘…’ button on the far right, then ‘Downloads and updates’ there aren’t any there to take? If not, then my advice would probably be, uh, reboot?

You install Game Pass games using the Xbox app on Windows.
But you update the app through the store.
For me the perfect music for driving games, say, was the anodyne instrumental stuff playing in the background of the late 90’s Need for Speed games, like the original NFS 3:Hot Pursuit, NFS 4:High Stakes, and NFS: Porsche Unleashed. Then they kind of crapped the bed soundtrack-wise with the otherwise excellent (original) NFS:Most Wanted with the FMV sequences.
