Emulate Xinput, specifically.

I did that and caused some major problems with the Xbox app (as in, I couldn’t run it, uninstall it, or reinstall it) which required an OS reinstall to fix. I was pretty careful but I still may have made a mistake so not saying it won’t work for others, but just be advised.
I played Nobody Saves the World with my PS3 controller, no problem.
Fantastic game. A few of the class challenges were a bit much, but for the most part the rate of unlocking new classes and skills was just about perfect.
(After I beat it I tried Death’s Door which felt way too hard and doesn’t have a map, so I dropped it)
Really digging it as well. It’s just perfectly paced. My map shows that I have four mini-dungeons and two legendary dungeons left to go…I think this might be my first 100% since Crash Bandicoot Warped!
The only dungeon that’s given me trouble so far is that one where all the damage is boosted 9999x. Once I figured out what I was doing wrong, though, it was cake.
I never did the 9999x dungeon after getting annihilated once. I guess if I looked through my skill list at the end of the game, I probably could have found a couple things to make it manageable.
That’s unfortunate. Did you nuke everything in there or just specific folders?

Specific folders, just a couple with games I was removing. I think it was the permissions change that screwed it up.
Maybe it’ll appease it if you switcheroo it back post-nuke so TrustedInstaller is the owner again once you’re done. But at this stage I’m just guessing. I’ll edit my original post so others are aware at any rate.
Well, I just finished Nobody Saves The World. Well, “finished”…right at the end when I’m about to finish off the final boss, the game freezes and I have to restart Windows to get back to the desktop. I’ve done it 3 times now, so I know it’s a bug and not just bad luck.
Good game, anyway, even if it does feel a little like god mode when you unlock the Dragon form.
I’ve been playing that new Japanese drumming game Taiko no Tatsujin and it’s a lot of fun, even using a controller.
I always enjoyed smashing the big drums in the arcade in the before times despite being bad at it, so I’m glad I can now fail in the privacy of my own home.
The song listing is a trip - the usual anime stuff I expected, including an absolute banger from the Attack on Titan soundtrack that makes me want to run through a brick wall, but then there’s also some Gustav Holst and… a weird cover of Last Christmas by Wham!

There’s also Evangelion, Street Fighter (sadly it’s Ryu’s theme and not Guile’s), Ridge Racer 4 and many more™!
I am outright terrible at these sorts of games, but I always have a good time being bad.

That game looks impossible
There are two difficulty levels beneath that one which is where I hang out. The Japanese lady shouts very encouraging things about how I’m doing.
Is that like music based 1 finger death punch?
For real. I’d say my max combo would be… 11, instead of this

I actually played this, to the evangelion theme, and at normal difficulty it’s reasonable.
How have you never heard this? And that’s not a cover, that’s the original.
Didn’t realize this had hit gamepass yet
Pretty much, except drumming, so two finger death punch.
(The deep dark secret of One Finger Death Punch is that it’s actually Two Finger Death Punch…)
Oh great, Taiko no Tatsujin doesn’t work on PC without using a fan-made patch to circumvent a login issue. So much for getting my hopes up.
