UPlay no longer does this. Folder names are good now.

My mistake - saves are still that way. The game data used to be too, but that got fixed.
Seems to be a common problem but Metro Exodus GamePass (Win10) just …stops working for no reason. I’ve reset/repaired the game data and tried moving it to another drive. No joy. Just loads and the exe shows in Task Manager but nothing.
(shrug)
Similar to the issue that I had a few months after buying and first playing Forza Horizon 3 on the Windows Store.

Yeah, I had to run some fan-made Power Shell script to get it working again. For all I know I could be rooted, but the game works again. :-/
