Do I need to download the Xbox installer app from PC Games Pass to access the games? It seems like I can see some stuff in the MS Store app, but so far I cannot find a place that just lets me browse the Game Pass catalogue there.

In the microsoft store app on win 10 , you need the Xbox Beta.

EDIT: Nope, @lordkosc is right. When I launch my XBox Console Companion app, it now prompts me to download the XBox (beta) app:

Yeah, you still need the Xbox companion app for that stuff. And for streaming from your Xbox.

I think that works only for Game Pass for PC, the above description. Not Ultimate.

Thanks! I didn’t realize the price increase was coming up. I extended mine one more month. I’m tempted to do more, but then I may feel like I need to play Gamepass games even if I have something else I’d rather play.

I got to the point where you hit ‘Extend’ at $4.99/month for PC Game Pass. Then the MS payment dialogue pops up. Briefly shows the saved payment info for me to extend at $4.99/month, and then quickly flashes to an ‘Oops! this offer isn’t available.’ message.
