Wish Vermintide were on pc.

Nice! I almost bought Company of Heroes 2 just recently. Can you mod games that are on PC game pass?

For those who haven’t tried it yet, Bad North is a lot of fun. Worth 5 or 10 hours for sure.

So far, that’s on a game by game basis. So I guess the answer would be, it depends.

Been wanting to play Night in the Woods for years but it never got heavily discounted, so that’s nice to see.

Do early access games ever end up here?

Not sure. Phoenix Point certainly got a lot of updates :/

Grounded is here. Not sure about non first party titles though. Maybe Astroneer was there while still technically early access? But I might misremember.

World of Horror is also currently early access.

Ah ok, so I guess the answer is ‘yes.’ I was just trying to determine if I should purchase an Early Access game that I’m jonesing for or if I should just play it cool and hope it shows up soon.

Hmm, none of those new games interest me. It’s been nice to have Phoenix Point, OOTP 21, and Crusader Kings 3, but I’m not really dying to keep any of them. The only GamePass game I’m playing is Flight Simulator, which is wonderful, but is that alone worth the $5 a month, when I could just buy it outright? Especially as I’d kind of like to buy its deluxe edition, and that doesn’t come with the GamePass. What say you, hive mind?

Always play it cool!

has anyone noticed that when you get the free month of PC game pass from the xbox rewards it seems to give you 2 months when you claim it? My account said I was paid through 11/25/2020, I put in the code for my 1 month of game pass and now it says I’m good through 1/25/2021. So far I paid $1 on 8/20 to start game pass, I’ve put in 2 codes for a free month of game pass, and I’m good through 1/25/21. So I’ve gotten 5 months of game pass for $1 and 2 free codes.

You do generally get an extra month for having recurring billing turned on.

wow, the microsoft rewards points is an even better deal than I though then.

Wait wait wait. So the secret is to leave recurring billing on, and you get two months each time instead of one month for turning in the code?

I thought you got 1 free month - one time only - for turning on recurring billing.

When I’ve done it I have auto-billing off in general, but when I redeem a code for a month I set the slider to on and I get an extra month. It has happened more than once, but there may be a frequency limit or something, as you’d expect.

Right. That part I’ve done as well. But I don’t always get offered the extra month for turning on recurring billing. If what pizza is saying is true, then I should have just left recurring billing on instead and gotten the extra month each time automatically?

I know for sure it gave me 2 months when I used the code just now and I do have auto bill on.
