October 1 for Consoles, unspecified “Later in 2020” for PC.

I’m guessing they’ll be making a Win10 version with achievements, etc. for PC.

The Bethesda deal won’t close till next year, so this is not an immediate byproduct of the deal.

I was hoping it was Buffy.

I was hoping it was both.

I am glad it will come to PC, even if later. Just don’t time it to 19th November, thanks.

Looks like Doom Eternal will also have a free upgrade to XS. No date yet.

Dishonored 2 no longer appears on the ‘Leaving Soon’ list. What could it mean?

Very nice! That’s fast. I always figured they’d have to work through some existing deals before Zenimax came to Game Pass permanently.

I was very surprised to see Forza 7 in the list.

In the perks section we’re also getting 2 months free of Funimation Now. Anime streaming service with tons of great shows.

Leaving October 15

  • Felix the Reaper (Console & PC)
  • Metro 2033 Redux (Console & PC)
  • Minit (Console & PC)
  • Saints Row IV Re-Elected (PC)
  • State of Mind (PC)

Looking forward to trying Drake’s Hollow.

Just found out that is the same developer as Flame in the Flood and I really enjoyed Flood’s atmosphere, setting, art direction, and soundtrack. Flame in the Flood was perfect for the Switch; will be nice to try Drake’s Hollow ‘free’ with Game Pass.

Same.

Drake’s Hollow, cool! I was interested in that one also.

Btw, I noticed in the Game Pass app, even though it says the 6 months of free Spotify Premium membership perk expires on September 6th, if you actually select it, it says on the next screen that it expires on December 4th.

I kind of miss Spotify Premium. It’s really well integrated on Xbox, PS4, and has a good app on Apple TV and my phone as well. Of course, this offer is for first time members only, so I’d have to start with a new profile and email, and have it learn my tastes in music from scratch again. Still, it’s tempting.

Anyway, I might do that once I get my Xbox Series X. Start off with some Spotify on there.

A cheap way to get an extra 4 months of Xbox Ultimate:

Basically when EA Play gets bundled with Ultimate, if you have joined EA Play through the MS store, then that membership will be converted to Ultimate (see here):

If you’ve purchased both Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play through the Microsoft Store when the EA Play member benefit unlocks for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members, your EA Play subscription will be cancelled, and any remaining time over 50 days will be rounded up and converted to the nearest month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at a ratio of three to one.

So if you were to join EA Play, let’s say through the Hungarian MS Store, 12 months of EA Play would be about £14 ($18), which should convert to 4 months of Ultimate in November (which works out at about £3.50 or $4.50 per month).

Do bear in mind that there is a cap of 3 years of Ultimate that can be on your account, so only try this if you have room on your account.

Just redeemed another month through bingclicks and I was offered another month free… Don’t know exactly the logic but I had recurring billing turned off.

I wonder if you can get that to trigger by turning recurring billing off right before doing the redemption… something to try!

I just did it. Recurring billing was turned on. Flipped it to off and went and redeemed my points for a code, and got 2 months for turning billing back on!

No idea if it’ll work more than once. I’m gonna have to wait a month or so to find out.

It should. When I added time recently before the price change, it gave me the extra month for having billing on without even turning it off first

Guys, I just switched my 2 years of prepaid PC game pass to ultimate for $1 still with the 2-year period remaining intact. You may want to try yourself, I thought it only converted from Gold but apparently not.
