I was lazy about grabbing the $4.99/ month deal for the PC Pass, and I thought I’d be locked into the $10/month plan as a result. But to my surprise, MS is billing me at $4.99/month anyway. Benign neglect FTW! At this price, I’m certainly willing to stick with it.
I have 1725 bing points. I’m not sure what to do to cash them in. I’m reluctant to toggle off “recurring billing” since I now like my recurring billing situation.

Ah OK, thanks. Well gee, it didn’t take me long to save up 1725. I haven’t really tried; I just set Bing as my home page and search engine. Which, of course, is just what MS wants.
I played the new game Ikenfell on Xbox today. It seemed really nice, except for it’s resolution. I think the only option is 320x200? Anyway, it’s very cute in a old school NES emulator or SNES emulator type of way. Except that once I was done with their 20 minute long combat tutorial, I talked to some people, and wanted to quit out. There was a quit option, but no save option anywhere. So I tried quiting. There was no warning about not having saved or anything so I quit.
Once I was in the main menu, I hit the continue option, just to make sure it had saved. Nope. I was back before the long ass tutorial battle. Sigh. Never playing that game again.
I had strange thing happen – the XBox PC client yesterday decided to completely re-download my install of Outer Worlds. Not sure why. Fortunately, once it was complete, my saves were still there. Odd.

Anyone try Forza 7 yet on PC Gamepass? Tempted to give that a whirl.
I did, but discovered track racing is dull :(
Dirt 5 looks more interesting to me :)

I bought it when it came out and ended up only racing on the Top Gear track.
I did that with Forza 4. That was the first one with the Top Gear test track and I just kept doing that one.
I played it last time it was a free play weekend and made lots of progress. I continued my game briefly the other night. It’s a great game, though Forza 5 is still the pinnacle of the series for me.
Forza 7 has some pretty cool tracks. A lot of people don’t like the career structure, but I don’t mind it too much. It definitely encourages you to mix things up.

Very handy and seems to work well.
Just put in my code for a free month of Gamepass PC from Microsoft rewards and it gave me 2 months again instead of 1! Every time I click the “redeem a code” button and put in the code it brings up the message about turning on reoccurring payments to receive an extra month, even though I never turn reoccurring payments off.
Whatever you’re doing, keep doing it, I guess. Don’t change anything, lest this golden goose dies.
I have the 360 version, bought at $20 and then put into the 360 JRPG backlog. But this is the XB1 version.
Yes, I’ve probably played each of these games a half dozen times over the years. And I will play them at least one more time.
That’s awesome. I did buy the remasters on Playstation, but never got around to playing them. Now I don’t have to! I can play them on Xbox and get achievements too.
