Oh hell yeah! I kind of knew Control has been a prime candidate for Game Pass for a while, so I had no problems waiting. Now I just need to wait until they add ray tracing to the console version.
Also really looking forward to Dragon Quest and trying out Greedfall at some point.
Has anyone heard of Haven before?
Haven (Console & PC) ID@Xbox – December 3
Does love really conquer all? Play as two lovers who gave up everything and escaped to a lost planet to be together. Glide through a mysterious landscape, explore a fragmented world and fight against what’s trying to tear them apart in this RPG adventure about love, rebellion, and freedom.
Yes, when they did that big week of new game demos, Haven was one of them. I thought it looked kind of interesting but didn’t really grab me. But what the heck, if they’re going to throw it on Game Pass, that’s a whole different kettle of fish.
I’ve already got Dragon Quest XI and Call of the Sea preloaded, been waiting for those.

Sweet, and Greedfall too? Another title I successfully resisted.
Ok, fellow “Leaving Game Pass Soon” gamers. What are we looking at this month that we should be playing before it leaves?
I think Age of Wonders: Planetfall and Untitled Goose Game get a lot of praise. I got stuck on the first set of tasks in Goose game, maybe I should consult a walkthrough so that I can move forward in that one. And I loved the first Age of Wonders back in the day, but could never get into the sequels. I should give Planetfall a try before it leaves.
Thanks to Target deals, I’m now topped off for the next 3 years on Gamepass Ultimate. Looking forward to a backlog that takes care of itself for years to come!
Wow, what a great list of inclusions; Game Pass keeps rocking it! I also need to stop buying so many games since I own a bunch here, but a wonderful curation for those with more restraint.
For those curious about Haven this is a good interview with the team:
And then there’s co-founder Audrey Leprince, who keeps dipping back into mentions of food during our conversation at PAX West about the studio’s upcoming game, Haven. “It’s all about cooking, spending time together, chatting, drinking, kissing – and that’s very French,” she says.
“There are a lot [of games] about dating, and some stories where you actually love someone but they’ve been killed and you have to avenge them, or you have to save the princess. That’s about the range of the love stories. So we decided to do a love story about an established couple. They’re already in love, and they’re going to have a happy, healthy relationship. It’s not going to be horrible and terrible and dark, and they’re [not] going to have to survive or die of starvation. No, it’s going to be okay.”
A while back I actually showed the trailer to my better half whom really has no interest in games as something she might actually enjoy to play with me. Maybe…I will see if it wins her over or not. :-)

Me too. You’re welcome, other people!
It might be worth another try, I finished it last weekend with the help of a few online tips. Some of the list items after the “ending” are pretty clever.
Aw man. Do I want to play this? I mean I kinda don’t, but I am pretty sure I’d never spend money to buy it, so I guess this is my shot.
Yes Your Grave was on my wishlist. Yay! :)
I’m going to miss Planetfall. Traded my disc last week thinking it’d still be on gamepass for awhile… darn it. I already have it on PC, but I really like the xbox controls for it and streaming.
Are these worth trying to play through quickly?
- Infinifactory
- Naruto Shinobi Striker
- Pathologic 2
You’ll know in a couple minutes if you like it or not. It’s on the streaming.

No achievements, so obviously no. :)

Yes! At least give it a go, as @Gigglemoo says you’ll know soon enough. It also manages to pull off the best joke I’ve ever seen in a video game.

I was close to getting Doom Eternal, but decided to wait for Gamepass. It will probably be even cheaper later on if I decide I want to get it on Steam.
For a second there I thought Haven was Graven, the new 3DRealms Hexen game. It even has an H and everything.

I really liked Untitled Goose Game. It’s kind of like Goat Simulator but with more structure and whimsy.
It won’t be available for PC via Gamepass, so if you bought it for PC you didn’t cheat yourself.
Quite possibly the best Zachtronics game. I’d say it’s at least worth playing through a couple of levels to get a feel for the game.
Slime rancher incoming? Awesome.
I must have missed the news on this game. What’s Call of the Sea? I’ve seen it on the Game Pass app’s “coming soon” but had never heard of it.
Edit: I also remember hearing about it because it was one of the few “Optimized for Series X|S” games listed at launch.

It’s been briefly discussed in the thread for the game itself, but has anyone heard anything about Empire of Sin on Gamepass? Most Paradox games hit on day 1, I believe – CK3 did, or very close to day 1 – but I haven’t seen any sign of it in the catalog or anything about it on the “Coming Soon” list.
I mean, I’m not above buying it, for sure, but based on mixed reviews I was kinda wanting to give it a whirl on Gamepass first.
Is there any way to know how long games are in gamepass for? Like they are adding Greedfall, why can’t they also specify “this game will be with us until X.X.2021” or whatever.
