I do wonder about the economic value of a $100,000+ college degree. Some are certainly worth it and some seem to me not worth it.

That’s dollars and cents. There are other ways of measuring value, of course.

All the other ways are pretty meaningless if a person with a $100k degree is kept in poverty by student loan debt that cannot be discharged or evaded in any legal manner.

That’s not horrible advice. It’s certainly a nuanced and complex topic but we have a generation of young adults now that are buried in debt semi-permanently because they went out and got college degrees to the profit of lenders and not society. I can’t automatically point fingers and call names at anyone who advises against four year degrees.

I sometimes wonder if people like Lindsay Graham and McConnell aren’t secretly neo-Confederates whose end goal is to delegitimize the Federal United States. They probably never expected to succeed in blowing the country up, but if they made a profit and weakened the Federal government to impotency by their actions, then all is WAD.
