Never know where to put these, but a judge has ordered Wisconsin to purge 234,000 voters from the rolls because they didn’t respond within 30 days to a request to verify something or other. The lawsuit was of course brought by a law firm representing a conservative group.
Some of the highest percentages of voters who could be tossed would be in Wisconsin’s two largest cities and areas with college campuses, epicenters of Democratic support…

That’s like 8% of the number of people who voted in Wisconsin 2016. Which Trump won by about 0.77%.
So, yeah. Dude is gonna win again, because in the swing states, they’re only gonna let Republicans vote.
They’re willing to do anything to win. It’s why they keep doing so despite the whole, you know, evil thing. Probably something to learn there.

To clarify, that judge upheld a law passed by the GOP legislature during Walker’s term - I’m not entirely sure he had any real choice in the matter (I don’t know if the judge has the power to invalidate that law.) In his ruling, he wrote the remedy is for the legislature to remove the law.
OTOH, WI also has same day registration. I am thankful for the people out there on the front lines organizing voter registration drives and GOTV. That will (or can) make the difference in 2020.

We have a new voter photo ID law in NC that is going to cause similar problems. Get Out The Vote campaigns are the only chance we have to vote against Trump (and NC is usually a very purple state).
