Roger Stone, secret Democrat. I can’t even.

I think you missed the word “Juror” in there. Because everyone knows only Republicans can serve on juries because Democrats aren’t real Americans.
Each day, I think that perhaps my hatred of conservative people has reached its maximum extent, and each day I’m proud to find new reserves of virulent rage to tap into.
If you’re a Republican you can’t be judged by a Democrat, but Republicans can absolutely judge Democrats.
This thread strikes me as a good idea.
Can’t we just start impeaching officials? Starting with Barr?
Sure, I like that idea, too. But they’ll be acquitted in the Senate, of course.
You just keep doing it. Put the screws to the administration. The GOP did it with Hillary.
I think that’s what he’s suggesting. Set up an ad-hoc committee to aggressively investigate Trump. And pair it with a PR campaign where those members make speeches about the misdeeds and educate the public about the danger to democracy.
In other news, Jim Jordan is a gay rapist, or an accomplice to one

These days, it’s safe to assume that’s what the (R) in front of their names signifies.
I believe the correct spelling is “Gym Jordan”.

Aka “syphilitic moron gym Jordan”.
Also, everyone needs to see this.
I did exactly the same thing in Michigan years ago. I voted for Pat Buchanan in 1996, in the hopes that the Republicans would end up with their worst candidate.

Many Democrats did the same with Trump in 2016. The lesson I learned from that was the political equivalent of “don’t play with fire”.
Dems considering calling the Stone prosecutors to testify in the House. This would be smart IMO.

The thing is it’s not like, as much as both sides hate each other now, we’re in some kind of card carrying dystopia that unless you’re a party member you’re not allowed to get jobs or advance in your career. Yet. Just because you normally vote Democratic or Republican doesn’t mean that you should be disallowed from voting in the other party’s primary. I deliberately voted in the Republican primary last time to try and keep Trump out.
The problem is that instead of voting for the best candidate to them on the other side they’re trying to vote for the best candidate they think will help their side win. But there’s nothing stopping them from doing this if they really want to. It’s another one of those “this isn’t working as designed” manipulations the Republicans have become so good at.
If they actually thought about it and coordinated - which they might do - every Republican state could just cancel their primary and get the Republicans to overwhelm the Democratic voters in Republican states to really throw off the scales.
And to be honest, they probably deserve to win at that point. If millions of Republicans choose to vote in the Democratic primary to f’ up the Democrats, you’re going to need to match that enthusiasm to f’ up the Republicans on the Democratic side. The real problem is that it’s an incumbency advantage, so the Republicans can cancel their own primaries to prevent the same trick by Democrats. But because Democrats are so diverse it would actually be much harder for the Dems to not have a primary because there are so many factions trying to get a word in.
There’s a real danger that in the future the GOP just cancels primaries in their safe states and f’s up the primary in Democratic states. And if their own voters happily play along, voting with the feet in the tens of millions, i’m not sure how to stop that.
