Is changing an open primary to a closed primary somehow not an option in your universe?
I got on a Republican mailing list a few election cycles back by voting in the Republican primary here in Michigan. And once you’re on that list, you get all their propaganda mail. Here’s the latest one:
This came in an official-looking “census” envelope, presumably meant to confuse people into thinking it’s actually important. It’s full of questions with wording like “Democrats’ fixation on climate change” and “never-ending witch hunt”. And of course, it asks you to provide a donation to the cause as part of the “census”.
I realize that there’s nothing new about political operatives doing their best to confuse voters. But this seems pretty excessive.
I got that too! I guess the one I sent in a few years ago calling them all a bunch of fuckin’ Nazis had no effect on their mailing list. :(
The thing is that he is free to say it as much as he likes. It’s the market which will penalize him, not the “Leftists”.
I don’t know who he imagines is stopping him from saying the n-word as much as he likes.
