It’s worse than that. By backing it, red states cause it to fail, i.e. lose their representation in the House.
“Cancelling” the presidential election is not the real concern. You know how it will happen.
“According to this new state law, we regret to announce that Joe Biden will not be allowed on the Florida ballot due to ongoing serious felony allegations reported by the totally nonpartisan DoJ”
“Some reports are coming in that absentee ballots from democrat leaning districts have been destroyed in a series of freak warehouse arson incidents.”
“Local election boards have decided to close all polling places in physical districts with less than 56% Republican voter base. Because they can lol. See you in court in March”
“Vote tablulator manufacturer confirms that although they are a wholly foreign owned subsidiary, their closed software can be relied on and reminds the public that laws exempt their systems from independent audits.”
“We commend our patriotic Voter Safety Patrols, and remind everyone that their weapons and propensity to interrogate arriving voters is completely legal.”

Stop. I still remember the ‘hanging chad’ fiasco. Watching the slow speed drive of vehicles in convoy, driving those votes to a Florida recount.
The horror. The horror.
The good thing is that even if these events, most without recent precedent, were to occur in red states, there’s still enough electoral votes in states with Democratic governors to win the presidency. So we should all go out and vote on November 3rd.

Do you remember last month when Captain Brett Crozier was relieved of command and escorted off the USS Theodore Roosevelt? What do you think would have happened if he refused to leave the ship?
The answer is that he would have been physically forced off. That’s exactly what would happen to Trump. The Secret Service does not have personal loyalty to a former President, their job is to enforce regulations. In Trump’s case, I suspect they might even relish the opportunity to lay down the law.

The bigger danger from Trump isn’t him actually leaving, it’s the lame duck period with a likely lame duck Congress. He could launch nukes at China or call for a race war and the Senate GOP would just shrug.
He’s gonna go absolutely nuts in the lame duck period. You think Trump’s crazy now? We ain’t seen nothing, yet.

No disrespect to the various people here. But do we have to rehash this yet again? It adds nothing to the discussion. Peace.
Will MA, NH, and VT really go to trump?

No, that map was strictly what party the governors were.
LA and KY are not going Biden either
No, and Baker in Mass truly is a RINO. He’s also a RINO who hates Trump.
There is almost a negative chance he is a party to anything that gives Trump Massachusetts.

I guess we’ll find out if Mitch McConnell is truly part of Trump’s suicide squad. Because letting the Postal Service go bankrupt weeks before an election would assure Republican destruction.
It’s not just Trump though. Vast swathes of the ruling class know they face jail.

in which Ted Cruz tries to make geek reference and fails hard.
Holy crap, that twitter thread but I think James Woods wins the king of broken brain* award.
(*Not counting trump of course.)
One party has completely abdicated even the pretense of sane leadership.
QAnon were recruited and became Trump people.
Republicans are addicted to Trump and include QAnon people to stay close to him.
… after Trump, Republicans will have become the party of QAnon
