I don’t know why anyone wastes their breath on the remaining GOP members. They made their chose some time ago. There is no redemption for them; they don’t want it.

This is very good and heartening but how/why would anyone bother to refer to the Republican Party as the party of Lincoln? I am pretty sure “moderate” Republicans worship at the altar of Reagan, and for everyone else, there’s MAGA. It’s like referring to the Republican party as the Party of Rockefeller.

Lincoln basically defines the old Republican Party. He was part of the founding and its first elected President. The GOP has always been “the party of Lincoln”.
