While I can respect your need to vent, the national GOP is an organization that predates Trump, will live on after him, and isn’t under his direct control. They always try to show solidarity with a sitting president, but they aren’t putting on a clown show like the White House. Trying to make sweeping generalizations about all members of one political party nationally doesn’t really work.

They’re not the same but they’re paralyzed by indecision and fear that their crazy voters will turn against them if they oppose Trump. So they play along and toe the line and shoot for tax cuts and the end to regulation.

I’m not sure if the distinction between a politician who doesn’t believe in Nazism but supports Hitler at every turn and an actual Nazi is meaningful. There’s also the self interest problem - now that all their eggs are in the Trump basket they have to support him lest the whole thing collapse.
