TLDR: It’s a prescription for a completely different malarial medication that Obama took because he was, get this, going to a place where malaria was a concern. In 2008. But somehow it’s proof that Trump was right about hydrxychloroquine over a decade later in relation to a disease that didn’t even exist when Obama was taking the medication. Because Mark is super smart.

I feel like Mark Levin was not always this stupid? But i honestly have no real recollection of him prior to his current state of profound, constant ignorance.

But wasn’t he a lawyer or something before he was purely a partisan talking head?

Uh oh. Another prominent conservative voice being persecuted.

Since it’s American “What is Social Distancing” Airlines, I’m guessing their “investigation” will just disappear or throw some flight attendant under the bus.

American airlines is trash

Yeah it’s unclear what needs investigating… Are the pictures Photoshopped? Was it Ted Cruz or a body double? Did it happen in our reality or a mirror universe?

They’re investigating whether it’s legal to take a photo of Ted Cruz flying American Airlines while not wearing a mask and in clear violation of American Airlines policy. The conclusion of this investigation will be to ban taking photos of Ted Cruz flying American Airlines without wearing a mask.

Ted’s beard is making more sense now.

I thought Ted’s face made his beard make sense.

Oh hey: vote fraud. I bet it’s those filthy libt…nope. It’s a Republican again.

But Trump didn’t know him, he’s never even met him.

This thread by John Holbo on Burkean conservatism as a movement goal is very, very good.

Tl; dr: No one who says he is a Burkean conservative trying to implement conservatism in society can actually be a Burkean conservative, because trying to force a political philosophy and way of life on everyone else over their objections is the least Burkean thing you could do. By analogy, consider communism. If you think it is a good idea to share things, you’re probably a nice person; but if you want to force everyone to share everything, possibly at gunpoint, you’re probably a power-mad monster.

Heh, Texas Republicans in charge propose an electoral college system for Texas, presumably to lock in GOP control of state government.

Huh. Imagine that. But at least Roger Stone ain’t voting.

Edit: the law affects felons with outstanding court debts, and Stone’s were wiped away with the commutation, so that POS will indeed be able to vote.

I wish some rich person would volunteer to pay all of those debts.

The thing is, they can’t. The state can’t tell the felons who try to register what they actually owe. They claim they don’t have enough people and that there is no system, so there is a backlog of 80,000 pending registrations and not one single one has been processed.

Good, responsible governance in Florida.

You have to hand it to Pompeo, saying that the important rights, the rights that really matter are property rights and religious rights is just about the simplest distillation of conservative philosophy you could make. It paves the way for everything else. If property rights are paramount, then taxation is a violation of those rights, and regulation is a violent of those rights, and government exists to ensure that I keep all of my property and government can’t interfere in what I choose to do with my property. If religious rights are paramount, then government can’t intrude in any area which might infringe on my religious views, which includes…everything.
