I guess he’s a bad doctor.

Voter suppression definitely plays a role here, which he is rather conveniently forgetting…

Tom Cotton is making a play for the post-Trump Republican party.

I don’t get the knee-jerk “patriotic” rejection of our nation’s history from those on the Right. You can love your country, be proud of your country, and still learn about and acknowledge all the bad things that go along with the good. It’s how we learn and grow, or should be, anyway. If we have horrible stuff in the past and you want to feel proud of your country, then look at how far we’ve come.

But we are exceptional!

Well, then, you’re an America-hatin’ commie. Just sayin’.

This was parodied like 10+ years ago in South Park.

And like that, magic:

Quick, wish for an end to global warming!

And get rid of Trump wishes. Big time.

But global warming first. Yeah.

I got a laugh out of that. Cleveland never forgets! Total respect for LeBron though.

Nobody is ever going to be writing an article like that about Art Model.

Cleveland has completely forgiven him - championships tend to do that and the philanthropy doesn’t hurt either. His latest I Promise effort in Akron just opened this week.

I hope it works. The mainstream stories I’ve read say that felons can’t find out how much they owe, because state employees can’t or won’t tell them. The state employees in turn say there’s no system or process for handling the requests for voter registration / fines accounting for felons, and pulling it together is too much work and they don’t have the staff to do it. So nobody gets an answer, nobody pays and nobody gets registered to vote. The numbers I’ve read were that, so far, 80,000 ex-cons have tried to register, of which not one single one has succeeded.

If you can’t find out their debt, you can’t pay it off. This is going to end up back in another courtroom. The best idea I can think of is some kind of lawsuit brought by all the felons who have tried to go through the process and failed, to compel the state to reasonably comply with the law.

I have heard the same stories. Seems odd that they can know that the 80,000 prior-felons owe debts, but can’t tell them how much those debts are. Someone, somewhere in the depths of voter registration is able to get those numbers, but something is preventing them from telling people what those numbers are. What could be the reason for setting up a barrier to voting that the existing government controls and that people cannot clear, in order to vote against the current government? I do wonder.

Very shocking realization about DJT and Kush.

I thought this was poor sportsmanship. The Democratic Party HQ in Maricopa County, AZ was torched. It’s just one county in Arizona, but they grow 'em big out there. I haven’t done the math but by land area you could probably fit 7.611 Rhode Islands into Maricopa and four times its population.

Now, certainly it’s early in the investigation, so I shouldn’t accuse Trump fans or GOP operatives for setting this fire. Maybe it was a disgruntled Dem hack or a false flag operation… however extremely unlikely that would be. But I think this story will belong in this thread.

Sure you should.

Doubtful.

Tin foil hat included. :)

Why is Kathy Griffin in that ad?
