I think at the end of the day having more diverse perspectives should make an intelligence organization like the CIA or FBI better. If the entire organization consists of people with the same background, they are going to be blinded to what other types of people either in this country or other countries might be thinking.

You do need to make sure they are loyal, of course, if their perspective is “I want to bring down the US Government” or “I’m most loyal to Putin” then you don’t want them. But otherwise more perspectives and viewpoints is seems like it would benefit the CIA or FBI’s ability to do its job well.
