Not that Garrison needs any excuse…

Another example of how the GOP marinates in their hypocrisy and performative bullshit so long that they are flummoxed when someone actually means what they say, rather than just trying to score points on the other team.

If you believe the election was stolen and Trump is still president, then of course you want a military coup.

And you’re also a flaming nutjob. So it all adds up really.

Accused of killing his wife, then filling in a ballot for her voting for Trump:

Barry Morphew was charged this month with murdering his wife. This week, things got stranger still: Barry was also accused of casting his wife’s ballot in a fraudulent vote for President Donald Trump.

Just the best people.

McSweeney’s sums up the thread…

McSweeney’s has been on fire lately.

In this case, literally!

I see that Joel Greenberg plead guilty to six federal charges which sounds like a lot but it sounds like he avoided 33 others thanks to his plea bargain. I assume that this is very BAD NEWS for Matt Gaetz. At least I sincerely hope so.

I got a laugh out the story. It certainly it is deserving of the world’s (universes) smallest violin for the poor GOP having a hard time attacking Joe.

“Biden is not a good bad guy,” said Ed Rogers, the veteran Republican lobbyist and strategist. “Obama was a haughty professor … The Uncle Joe life story that he has — the tragedy, the losses, the obvious empathy the man has, I think that’s all legit. So, it’s hard to demonize him.”

Because [Biden] is so boring, he’s not as scandalous,” said John Thomas, a Republican strategist who works on House campaigns across the country.

Though Biden “certainly is relevant” as the head of the party in power, Thomas said, “there are bigger bogeymen … We don’t need him as our No. 1 foil.”

From the Democratic primaries through the general election, they saw firsthand how difficult it was to drag Biden down, with their efforts to depict him as mentally unfit or corrupt largely falling flat. Even Trump seemed stung by Biden’s imperviousness, mocking his successor as “Saintly Joe Biden.”

“Biden gives a fireside chat, and the fire goes out,” said former Rep. Tom Davis, a Virginia Republican who served as National Republican Congressional Committee chair. “I mean, he does not evoke the strong emotion that Trump did.”

Ok I have to say this never occurred to me.

Republicans, if you don’t get your shit together, we are heading towards the collapse of American democracy and quite possibly all-out war. And make no mistake, I hate war. Sure, all the people responsible for the millions of deaths get tormented with Ben Shapiro’s audiobook version of Lolita on full volume for all of time. But you know what happens to the millions of innocent people? They go UP, not DOWN.

Do I need to click the link or does it really say enough in that head line, because I’m pretty sure my feelings of anger and hate at Donald Trump can’t get any stronger then it is already.

Depends on how angry you are with Burr already.
