Seriously. He had to say he’s a Trumper? Is that how he wants to be remembered? Bob Dole, Trumper? He could have just said something like, “I’m a Republican through and through” and left it at that.
I’m willing to give 98 year olds a pass on statements like that, and just assume senility is biting down hard.
Perhaps, but the guy does have a track record.

Hey, Dole was a technological trailblazer.
To a significant extent, medical school is memorizing a huge amount of information, rather than getting a grounding in scientific method, critical thinking, proper application of Bayesian statistics and the like.
How you manage to get through internship, residency and possibly a fellowship while being a bit of a moron ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ - and my job falls under the college of medicine so you’d think I’d have a chance to suss it out.
