Congressman Cow is out

LOL

I don’t think there could possibly be a better job for that piece of shit.

I hope he’s getting paid in advance.

I hope he isn’t, because then Trump can stiff him like he’s stiffed so many others.

Yes, the ideal reward for loyalty to Trump, is a complete lack of reciprocity, and to have your life destroyed.

I see no downside to this. :)

The more likely answer

I’ve been laughing at this all damned day.

See, we found something good about Trump after all, since he does this every single time.

In some ways, Trump himself is the ultimate manifestation of my deadly traps plan. He’s killed hundreds of thousands of his idiot supporters, and destroyed the lives of many of those who are still alive.

Yet still essentially a coin flip from retaking the presidency should current trends continue.

Problem: Too many school shootings.
GOP solution: Do away with schools.

Steve Bannon’s trial doesn’t start until July 18th. Yes, that’s right, it takes over 8 months to get a trial for criminal contempt of congress. Until then, the guy is walking the streets, doing his podcast, getting ready for the next coup attempt.

And, let’s face it, something will end up delaying it, or something else will happen, and he’ll never suffer any consequence at all. No wonder Mark Meadows decided to back out. Why wouldn’t he?

Yeah, that seems like bullshit.
Wtf is the hold up?

Boy did I ever want my pessimism to be wrong.

The judge chose a middle date between what the prosecution wanted versus what the defense wanted. The prosecution wanted to start the trial in April, the defense wanted to start it in October. I’m glad the judge didn’t let the defense get its way at least - 10+ months after being arraigned is ridiculous.

Why didn’t the prosecution ask for January? Specifically the first week of January. Like on a Thursday or something.

I don’t understand how any of this bullshit isn’t just immediately ruled on by the courts.

Bannon wasn’t part of Trump’s administration. There is literally no possible claim of privilege… And none had even been claimed.

He’s refusing to obey a subpoena.

Congress just needs to fucking grow some balls and throw him in the basement of the Capitol.

We need to bring back oubliettes.

Half because its fun to say, half because Bannon belongs in one.

Hard to believe that either side needs 6+ months to prepare to try a case of obstruction of Congress. The facts aren’t in dispute. The defense will be about the law, not the facts.
