I was out of town in the trailer when Nunes announced his leaving Congress and I was avoiding the news so it was a shock to come home and discover this in the Sunday paper.
Nunes’s district has supposedly been redrawn from +12 GOP to -5. His last couple elections have been closer anyway.

A weird thing is if you google his net worth you get a ridiculously low estimate. I think Nunes is going for the cash and for any future chance at power as a Trump loyalist.
