Because fuck her, make fun of her for whatever you want.

Normally I’m not a fan, but given she is a psycho bitch and has facial expressions that scream psycho bitch, it feels fair to point this out.

Just as its fair to point out Matt Gaetz is a pedophille with a face that screams pedophile.

I’m with Team Timex on this one. Her feet aren’t why she’s reviled or being mocked, but they do provide ammo. Just like Trump’s ill-fitting suits, his weight, etc. Not things I’d make fun of the vast majority of people, but when it comes to certain vile individuals (especially those that hold power), I don’t feel bad about mocking them.

Yeah, normally I’d feel sympathy for someone wearing an adult diaper, but when it’s Trump fire away!

When they go low, we go low. Human nature, baby!

Also, it’s okay to be uncomfortable… even deeply uncomfortable.

Yup, somehow Mike Judge (or whoever came up with the drawing of the character) travelled forward in time, took a picture of Gaetz and used it as the model for Butthead. I mean the similarity is uncanny.

Regarding mocking someone like MTG, I think it’s important to recognize that the purpose of such things is not some kind of deep legitimate criticism.

It’s mockery. MTG is a piece of shit. She deserves to have people treat her as such and make her feel bad.

The same thing with someone like Trump. Trump constantly insults others for all kinds of things that we would consider inappropriate and mean. What’s good for the goose, is good for the gander.

So that may lead you to think, ā€œbut then it gives Trump the excuse to do it to you!ā€ Trump’s already going to do that! These people have no notion of reciprocity when it comes to civility. Fuck them all the way out of here.

Some folks like wearing those!

She’s a 3 toed sloth!

It’s okay because I also latch onto Sarah Palin’s physical appearance so it all evens out.

Isn’t that spelled lech onto?

I’m not sure that verb qualifies considering our age difference. Which I’ve made peace with.

I for one am aghast at this clear anti-caveperson bigotry. I hope none of you ever see my feet. A feeling I’m sure is mutual.

Anyway back to the moral corruption.

He’s just combating the hysteria of those who want tests, as one does when one is king.

That’s not the only reason not to ridicule someone’s appearance, the simplest reason is that whatever feature you latch on too, there are going to be thousands of perfectly nice people that definitely or arguably have that feature- and there is just no reason to (in aggregate) expose those people to yet more shit about that.

And that’s even apart from the slippery slope problem that the more people do it, the more it remains normalized to target people who do something you don’t like (whether they are overall moral monsters or not).

I think by now it’s been scientifically proven that if you don’t test for COVID, then you don’t have a COVID problem. I don’t see what the issue is.

Yeah, that’s usually my thought… except, in this case, nobody cares about feet, and no one is going to care about feet, it’s already weird to care about feet (which is silly, but whatever), so, meh.

Um…have you met the Internet? There’s a HUGE wing of it dedicated solely (yes, pun intended) to feet.

I mean if the argument is normalization or not. I think people are even less likely to draw lines of behavior between feet/not feet than moral monster/not moral monster.

Normalize what, though? I think the reaction to/focus on the ā€œscary faceā€ & feet photos was more about how those images are kind of symbolic of how monstrous a human being she is (something I believe most people in this thread probably agree on), and not so much about singling out physical features to objectify someone.
